Mike Doran

Mike joined the DLP Capital team in September of 2023, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate debt and equity. He spent the first 20 years of his career at PGIM, one of the world’s leading money managers. During his time with PGIM, Mike contributed to several key areas for the firm, including: equity asset management, underwriting, loan origination, production management, portfolio management, financial reporting, construction lending program oversight, and bridge lending program oversight.

Prior to joining DLP Capital, he spent six years as a Managing Director at Greystone, a private commercial real estate finance and investment company. His initial role with the firm was leading the Sales Services team, supporting production for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac conventional lending platforms. In his final year with Greystone, he was in a corporate credit risk management role with risk oversight for the agency, bridge, and balance sheet portfolios.

As a member of DLP Capital’s Executive Leadership team, Mike partners with Nick Lanni, Senior Director Of Credit, Risk & Investments, to lead the Investments and Portfolio Management team. He is focused on DLP’s lending platform, where he is involved in structuring deals, evaluating risk, underwriting analysis, and portfolio management. He is also responsible for the oversight of deal negotiation, deal underwriting, due diligence, risk analysis, and portfolio management of our existing debt portfolio.

Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He also holds a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
