The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for growing DLP Capital's brand and audience, which in turn drives DLP's revenue. This leader will support strategic planning, product development, marketing, content creation, branding, events, and overall corporate communication. Working closely with the executive team, this leader will help execute the current corporate strategic plan.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
- Experience leading a marketing department exclusively or across multiple business lines in an organization with over $3 billion in assets and more than 200 team members.
- Direct experience in the multifamily and/or single-family housing industry.
- Extensive experience with high net worth clients.
- Strong HubSpot experience
- ABM marketing experience
What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
- Fully implement an ABM strategy, including targeted data, campaign creation and implementation, and tracking.
- Own the brand "DLP Capital" and manage the messaging, voice, and creative aspects of all marketing, events, and communication materials.
- Lead the positioning of DLP as an expert in impact investment and affordable workforce housing, high-growth and high-profit business scaling, as well as personal fulfillment and productivity.
- Lead the "Impact in Action" initiative, including storytelling, case studies, and the promotion of stakeholder stories.
- Drives sales enablement for our lending and capital raising teams.
- Lead the marketing team by building capabilities through development or recruitment. Ensure alignment, accountability, and focus on priorities and key projects, including implementing marketing briefs for each project.
- Be obsessive about client engagement by increasing it through internal and external marketing efforts. This includes promoting both investor/client benefits to drive retention and DLP's service lines to boost revenue per investor/client.
- Lead marketing data analytics, tracking, reporting, and scorecards. Oversee the development of marketing segmentation lists.
- You will own the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot and Monday. You will be responsible for both the implementation and adoption of this technology.
- Manage all marketing and communication budgets, including approval, accountability, and reporting. This includes completing the annual marketing budget and content calendar by November of the previous year, as well as providing monthly marketing spend reports.
- Oversee and maximize DLP’s online and offline presence.
- Oversee lead generation and lead conversion strategy and execution, including the development of nurture campaigns.
- Build the "Builder" sales team for selling homes, condos, and other properties.
- Build the "Brokerage" team for capital markets and capital raising, including brokering deals.
- Develop a clearly defined Acceleration Plan with actual-to-goal tracking reported to leadership monthly. Be deeply involved with the CRM to establish procedures for tracking leads through to Closed Won and Closed Lost opportunities.
