Investor Support Specialist

The Investor Support Specialist is a client-facing role primarily focused on scheduling successful appointments with prospective and existing Investors by engaging in timely communication and follow-up in order to ensure an excellent onboarding process, successful investment fundings, and an ongoing, helpful, and prosperous relationship between clients and their Investor Success Managers (ISM).

What you have already achieved: (Requirements) 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Inside sales experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Highly knowledgeable about private funds and/or real estate, or displays ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent phone communication skills required
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with CRM software

What you are great at: (Responsibilities)

  • Answering all incoming calls, ensuring timely communication and successful outcomes with future/existing Investors.
  • Scheduling appointments between future/existing Investors and Investor Success Managers using DLP's tools and systems (Salesforce, Appfolio, Vonage, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.)
  • Ensuring the involvement of future/existing Investors and Prosperity Members in all-things related to DLP - company events, capital dinners, live webinars, etc.
  • Creating urgency, providing clarity, and effectively engaging with future Investors regarding investment opportunities with DLP.
  • Following up on all ISM appointments and providing assistance as needed to ISM in order to ensure a successful onboarding process/funding completion for all new Investors.
  • Assisting existing Investors with all incoming service requests pertaining to accounts and investments, collaborating with Investments and experience Team when necessary.
  • Consistently communicating with ISM, experience Team, and other DLP lines of business, as applicable.
  • Maintaining and updating CRM's (Salesforce/AppFolio) on a consistent basis.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with internal team members to solve all Investor questions, concerns, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Attending and participating in all DLP meetings, training, and (as applicable) events.
  • Assisting ISS/ISM teams in scripting, role playing, and managing the overall pipeline.
