Capital Expenditure Project Manager

The Capital Expenditure Commercial Real Estate Project Manager will lead Assigned Capex Projects in commercial real estate projects and associated project work flows. They will provide assistance to the Project Manager and ensure projects meet their objectives on a monthly & quarterly basis. This position will be accountable to direct and deliver all aspects of assigned redevelopment and cap-x projects. 

What You Have Already Achieved (Requirements)

  • Local to Houston
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Background in commercial real estate with a focus on ground up developments such as Multi Family, Single Family BTR, MHC and Outdoor Hospitality resorts (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the Multifamily industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Contractor and Material Supplier Work Load Balance and Analysis
  • Foster Communication and Conflict resolution between Property Management
  • Capex Project Performance Oversight
  • Capex New Market Vendor/Supplier Development within Company guidelines
  • Budget Review, scope, schedule to seek approvals
  • Accurate Weekly Reporting
