Chris Roemer

Senior Counsel

Chris brings nearly twenty years of legal experience in real estate, finance, construction, and litigation. Prior to joining DLP Capital, he held in-house roles and ran his own practice, serving as general counsel for developers of condominium, hotel, apartment, self-storage, and retail projects throughout Florida and the Carolinas. He also advised clients on a wide range of real estate and finance transactions. As Senior Counsel of Transactions at DLP Capital, Chris leads transactions through closing, including lending, warehouse finance, and equity transactions.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College, a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, and a Master of Laws in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law. Admitted to the Florida and District of Columbia Bars, he brings both deep legal knowledge and practical experience to every transaction he leads. Beyond his professional work, Chris is a proud uncle and dog dad. He also dedicates time to supporting DLP’s charitable initiatives, including the Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
