Pine Royale has officially opened its doors in Florida, marking the arrival of an eagerly awaited addition to the Callahan community

This quarter, more than 500 guests turned out to celebrate the grand opening of Callahan, FL’s newest golf entertainment destination: Pine Royale.

Conceived as a modern twist on the traditional golf experience, Pine Royale combines a casual nine-hole, par-three course with interactive technology, ample social space, and amenities designed to appeal to players of all ages and skill levels. Multiple tee locations, nighttime illumination, and food and beverage service ensure a fun, relaxed experience that emphasizes connection as much as competition.

Unlike traditional golf clubs that can sometimes feel overly exclusive, Pine Royale was designed with inclusivity in mind. The course structure meets players where they are, offering relaxed play for beginners while keeping seasoned golfers challenged. Players can perfect their shots through integrated ball-tracking technology, receiving real-time feedback on distance, accuracy, and swing performance with every hit. Whether visitors are looking for a quick round after work, a full-fledged family outing, or an evening under the lights with friends, Pine Royale makes golf approachable, exciting, and uniquely rewarding for every player.

This energy effortlessly carried over to Pine Royale’s grand opening celebration on February 27th. Guests lined up for nearly a mile, excitedly waiting to explore the new facility. The ceremony began with remarks from DLP Founder and CEO, Don Wenner, President of Development and Construction, Jim Boyce, and representatives from the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce. The Falcone Group, represented by Founder, Chairman, and CEO Art Falcone, was also recognized as Pine Royale’s operations partner, underscoring the collaborative effort behind the venue.

Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed a variety of interactive experiences. A hole-in-one contest amped up the friendly competition, and a custom hat lab invited attendees to design their own ballcaps with unique patches. Custom-engraved pint glasses provided the perfect keepsake, and the “roadie” van bar kept guests sipping in style as they explored the course and connected with fellow players. 1010 XL Sports Radio even broadcast live from the site, sharing the celebration with listeners across Northeast FL, while Roy, Pine Royale’s giant golf ball mascot and local Callahan icon, served as a friendly reminder that golf—and good company—should never take itself too seriously.

Pine Royale strongly embodies DLP’s broader vision for sustainable growth through the new DLP LivingFully Community Fund. This development marks the first phase of a larger vision for the site, which ultimately includes plans for an RV resort, water park, and additional entertainment, transforming the property into a destination where families can stay longer and enjoy more in one central location. At the same time, this project reinforces DLP’s commitment to investing in the local community. Redevelopment of the surrounding streets, connection to the original site entrances, and additional planned amenities, including a lap pool for the local high school, demonstrate an approach that balances innovation, impact, and preservation of existing neighborhood elements. By integrating these infrastructure improvements with inclusive spaces, the project will add value to the local community, offering residents and visitors new ways to connect and enjoy life together.
