DLP Capital Funds $17.1 Million Loan for Ambassador Garage

DLP Capital is proud to originate a $17,100,000 first mortgage loan to Gateway Jax, a Jacksonville-based investment and development firm. The financing will fund the construction of Ambassador Garage, an eight-story, 151,200-square-foot parking garage in Pearl Square, Downtown Jacksonville’s newest neighborhood.

Set within the nine-block district, the 480-space concealed garage will maintain Pearl Square’s pedestrian-friendly character while providing parking for residents, commuters, and visitors alike.

About Ambassador Garage

Located at 404 N. Julia Street, the garage will offer approximately 320 monthly spaces and 160 daily spaces. Ambassador Garage will serve the Ambassador Hotel and the Independent Life Tower—two historic structures that will be transformed into modern anchors for Pearl Square’s connected, curbless spaces.

By consolidating parking for these facilities into a single structure, Ambassador Garage will enhance access, support higher-density development, and pave the way for a thriving, walkable neighborhood designed for everyday living.
