Milestones to Momentum: DLP Capital Vision Day 2026

A bold vision for the future—and the systems to make it a reality.

Impact in Action

Vision Day 2026 marked more than an annual reset—it underscored how DLP has consistently translated vision into execution over two decades, aligning leadership, strategy, and culture around a shared mission.

For DLP team members, Vision Day has long been the cornerstone of how the firm begins each new year with clarity and conviction. Led by Don Wenner and DLP’s senior leadership team, this annual event outlines not only strategic priorities but the operating principles that guide how we create lasting impact.

This year’s Vision Day reinforced a clear focus on tangible progress—not just by doing more, but by building systems, developing leaders, and empowering decision-making in ways that don’t depend on any single individual. Rather than relying on one-off heroics, the emphasis was on transferable systems designed to endure, outlast, and compound.

Don also highlighted the importance of “bending the curve”, recognizing that greater effort does not always produce better outcomes and that disciplined focus, long-term thinking, and consistent execution remain central to driving meaningful progress. He also emphasized the importance of building an organization of clock builders rather than time tellers in driving DLP’s vision forward for decades to come. Introduced by Jim Collins in Built to Last, the concept is foundational to building a company that has the unshakable foundation needed to continue after any single leader has stepped aside. It’s about equipping and empowering leaders to make decisions—teaching them how to build a clock and tell time independently—rather than relying on one single person capable of “telling time” for the entire organization, shifting the focus from individual brilliance to collective endurance.

While markets and environments continue to shift, DLP’s core values and purpose remain unshakeable. We continue to operate our Extraordinary Execution System, embracing the power of AND—consistency and change, discipline and innovation, performance and prosperity.

On January 16th, 2026, we marked 20 years of DLP Capital by inviting our community to experience our Vision Day program in a new, more interactive way. Investor Vision Day was designed as an intentional webinar, creating space for real-time dialogue around leadership insights, strategic priorities, and the principles shaping DLP’s next chapter.

For those unable to attend live, a full replay of Investor Vision Day is available on The Twenty to revisit the conversations that set the tone for the year ahead.
