Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator will assist in coordinating various aspects of event planning, from concept development to post-event evaluation, ensuring that each event runs on schedule and within budget while delivering impactful experiences that reflect DLP Capital's brand and values.

  • Strong attention to detail by Ensuring Every Element of the Event is Well-Planned and Executed.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and Event Registration Platforms
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Communication Skills Including the Ability to Interact with Clients, Vendors, and Staff effectively.
  • Strong Organizational Skills by Being Able to Multitask and Keep Track of Various Event Details
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills by Being Able to Quickly Adapt and Troubleshoot Issues as they arise.

What you are great at: (Responsibilities) 

  • Assist with sourcing and booking activities, entertainment and decor.
  • Manage all micro dinners by building out budgets, and detailing AV, food and beverage.
  • Provide Event Administrator with event snapshot details. 
  • Ensure the Event Admin is aware of all necessary materials to send to the event.
  • Coordinate venue, AV, food and beverage, decor and branding for Vision Day.
  • Ensure event is fully in budget
  • Attend Event Huddle and Pipeline meetings
  • Maintain partnering relationships with internal business partners such as food services, conference-services, audio visual, security, and facilities
  • Work with the project manager to ensure all DLP events are properly promoted
  • Create and implement checklists to improve overall consistency across all events
  • Attend the necessary events and facilitate the team to ensure each event is maximized per the objective of each event
  • Increase the operational effectiveness of each event, both from the client experience and internal team performance
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Experience, and business-unit leaders to elevate the overall level of events
  • Create a contingency plan for events managed
  • Assist in developing a theme for the events
  • Track expenses for events managed and create a summary of all costs
  • Utilize checklists to improve overall consistency across all events
