After more than two decades in real estate, DLP has learned that the most straightforward way to make an impact in supplying and solving America’s affordable housing crisis is to build attainable communities ourselves.
Since inception, the DLP Building Communities Fund has sought to address the affordable housing crisis through investments in land development, multifamily communities, single-family rentals, manufactured housing, and land banking with developers. The Fund has 10 Thriving Communities projects under construction as of Q4 2025, and has delivered projects such as Dream Marine Creek in Fort Worth, Texas, and Dream Winter Haven in Central Florida.
Building attainable workforce housing is one thing. Building a legacy and making an impact is another. As of Q4, 2025, the Fund has 2,568 units under construction and 1,449 units in pre-development for an estimated 15,003 future residents who will benefit from safe, connected communities.
