Tom Hallock
Tom’s career has revolved around real estate and specifically, construction lending. He started his career in community banking in Santa Barbara, California. He went on to launch the One-Time-Close Construction to Permanent loan program for Countrywide Home Loans, growing the program from inception to 5,000 loans in its first 3 years.
During the Great Recession, Tom helped start a consulting group working for the FDIC managing construction related debt and projects, including a number of large condominium projects in Miami, New York and Las Vegas.
Tom was one of the first employees of American Homes 4 Rent, where he purchased their first foreclosure property in Las Vegas and oversaw acquisitions and conversions throughout the US. The last few years, he was with Genesis Capital and PeerStreet, gaining direct experience in the private lending and FinTech space.
