As the Finastra Financial Applications Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing DLP Capital's financial capabilities. You'll drive the ongoing administration, documentation, training and strategic enhancements of our core financial systems, with a focus on Finastra's suite and its integrated solutions. Collaborating closely with Lending, Accounting/Finance, Funds, Development & Technology departments, you'll configure Phoenix and related systems to seamlessly align with DLP's evolving operational needs, policies, and procedures.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
- Assist in configuring and testing Core Banking enhancement requests and scheduling change requests for the production environment.
- Finastra experience required.
- Provide technical expertise to the Accounting and Finance Team as it relates to Finastra Phoenix and other products.
- Maintain permissions and security settings for Phoenix, CreditQuest and other financial systems.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the core system, implementing measures to prevent data corruption and loss.
- Work closely with the Data & Integrations team to provide user and executive level reports.
- Review overnight reports and make adjustments to the General Ledger and Sub ledger accounts to ensure that they are balanced.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors and consultants to design and develop solutions and the successful testing, documentation and support of those solutions. Investigates packaged solutions to systems and programs for resolution of problems and enhancement opportunities.
- Work independently on special IT projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Business and Financial Systems.
- Review Finastra updates, notifications and releases as well as making sure we stay in line with all requirements.

- Take ownership of tickets with Finastra and other managed applications.
- Define requirements for reporting and other IT automations.
- Perform data mapping functions as needed.
- Conduct business analysis processes on business processes and applications.
- Review Phoenix overnight reports to ensure processing accuracy and resolve any General Ledger and Processing errors.
- Recommend solutions and conduct due diligence.
- Configure GL’s and sub ledger accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining Phoenix System Administration settings.
- Handle Jira tickets and user issues related to assigned financial applications.
- Discover opportunities for workflows. Create workflows and train a team and verify adoption.
- Participate in Agile scrum meetings and prepare items ahead of time to backlog for your 2 week sprint.
