Senior Director of Learning & Development

The Senior Director of Learning & Development will lead the execution of our training initiatives at DLP Capital. The leader in this role will focus on the design, implementation and management of  learning and development programs for the DLP Capital team members utilizing EES tools as the foundational system. The leader in this role is responsible for championing and continuing the culture of a learning environment that enhances employee performance, drives engagement and contributes to the overall success of the organization.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements) 

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning and development programs.
  • Expertise in aligning training initiatives with organizational goals and strategic priorities, including the development of leadership pipelines and upskilling programs.
  • Experience in using data and analytics to measure training effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive program improvements.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment, private equity, or asset management, with the ability to tailor learning programs to meet industry-specific needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.

What you are great at: (Responsibilities)

  • Develop full Sales Training Curriculum for investor team, lending team, and leasing teams.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives for DLP Capital, DLP Bank, DreamLiveProsper Communities, and Thriving Community Life (residents). This includes management of programming, training, and development to fully build out and implement 2 programs for 2025 such as Leaders Made Here (producer to manager) and Leaders Thrive Here (manager to executive). 
  • Supporting the organizational change initiatives by preparing and equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Championing the established culture of continuous learning at the company.
  • Expert in DLP culture and EEStools.
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels to promote L&D initiatives, gather feedback, and assure alignment in organizational priorities.
  • Create a learning and development platform for levels 1-5 to include training on professional "soft" skills, business skills and industry skills to close the skill gaps across the organization. 
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in learning and development to continually enhance offerings.
